Arbor Hospice combines resources with their sister organization Hemet Hospice Volunteers to offer individual and family grief support.
Grief Support For Hemet And Surrounding Communities
Grief support is available for loved ones of patients and for the entire community. Our trained volunteers and staff understand that everyone’s reaction to grief is unique. It can be difficult to talk about your feelings of loss, this support group offers a comfortable place to receive support from those who are also mourning a loss.
People cope with the loss of a loved one in many ways. For some, the experience may lead to personal growth, even though it is a difficult and trying time. There is no right way of coping with death. The way a person grieves depends on the personality of that person and the relationship with the person who has died. How a person copes with grief is affected by their experience with illness, the way the disease progressed, the person’s cultural and religious background.
- Weekly Grief support meetings open to everyone in the community.
- Support groups are offered to your staff, church, or organization.
- Youth services bring our expert volunteers to the schools in the Hemet and San Jacinto school districts.
